The Mi Notebook series includes thin bezels and feature Silent and both Output modes to meet the needs of consumers. It comes with the Mi Blaze Unlock feature, too. By just keeping a Mi Band 3 or Mi Band 4 near your device, without entering the password, this helps you to unlock the system.

Moreover, the Quickshare feature on the series of notes allows you to enjoy the experience of easy file sharing and gives you a better laptop experience.
The Mi Notebook 14 is based on Windows 10 Home. A 14-inch full-HD (1,920 to 1,080 pixels) monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio is borne by this notebook sibling. A 178-degree viewing angle is also given by this version. In addition, on the top and sides of the display panel, there is also a 3mm thin bezel that results in a dimension of 323 x 228 x 17.95 mm.
The Mi Notebook 14 and Horizon Edition are the two original versions in the laptop offering of Xiaomi, and these are very impressive and safe to claim. The Mi Notebook 14 models with the 10th Gen Intel processors come as standard and have premium designs to flaunt. Xiaomi has got the pricing very right, more than the requirements.
With some Mi applications for fast data transfer and unlocking, Xiaomi has also added its own value. Does that mean this is the ideal option in the luxury segment for a laptop? We have mentioned reasons why you should consider the Mi Notebook 14 and five reasons why you should look elsewhere before you get confused.

We have mentioned reasons why you should consider the Mi Notebook 14 and five reasons why you should look elsewhere before you get confused.
Pros of Mi NoteBook
1. Price
Within the Horizon Edition line, there are two choices to choose from and the CPU is the key difference between them. You will also get a 512GB SATA SSD if you select the Intel Core i5-10210U model, and the price will be Rs. 54,999. At Rs. 59,999, the version with the Core i7-10510U and a faster 512GB NVMe SSD would appear to be much better. There is also a USB Type-C port in the higher-priced model, while the lower one does not.
2. Display
A 14-inch full-HD resolution display and a matt coating are provided to this laptop. People like it because it’s anti-reflective, which is perfect for work.
3. Portable
The Horizon Version of the MI Notebook 14 weighs 1.3kg and is just 17.15mm thick, making it very portable. The body is constructed from an aluminium magnesium alloy, which should be reasonably durable.
4. Battery
Xiaomi guarantees 10 hours of battery life but does not specify what workloads are involved and under what circumstances. Fast charging in 35 minutes will get you up to 50 per cent, so you can be efficient on the go.
5. Graphics
For better graphics performance than the integrated GPU of the Intel CPU, Xiaomi has used a distinct GPU, the entry-level Nvidia GeForce MX350. If you deal with heavy media files, you can expect a slight speed increase, but don’t expect to use this laptop for high-end gaming.
6. USB Type-C Port
You get one USB Type-C port that works at 5Gbps (USB 3.1 Gen1 speed), but with the Core i7 version only.
7. Design
A definite highlight is a sleek and light design. Although you can certainly find machines in the graphics department that produce more power or pack more heat, there are few that can really strike the perfect balance between design and portability, and that’s worth more than you’d think.
8. Fast SSD
In equipping the computer with a fast SSD, Xiaomi made the correct decision, which makes a big difference to the experience of a regular spinning hard drive. All loads rapidly and the optimized NVMe drive ensures that you are never left sitting around waiting to load your files.
Disadvantages of Mi Notebook
1. No Built-in Webcam
There is no built-in webcam because, at the design stage, Xiaomi prioritized thin screen borders. In the box with the laptop, the company does offer a USB HD webcam, although certain users may find this inconvenient.
2. Keyboard
The keyboard features full-size keys and 1.3mm key travel with a scissor action. As on several other computers, the arrow cluster is cramped. There’s still no backlighting for the keyboard, which has frustrated many potential customers.
3. Memory
You get 8GB of DDR4 RAM with 2666MHz that is soldered-in and cannot be upgraded. The higher-priced version of the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Model has a replaceable high-speed NVMe 512GB SSD. It should be noted that the lower-cost version ships with a slower, replaceable SATA SSD.
4. Safety
Although it is a Windows laptop, Xiaomi’s data collection and privacy practices have been challenged since the last few years. So, safety could be a problem.
5. Display Port
The DisplayPort video output is also not enabled, and you can’t use it to charge the laptop. Also, there is no slot for the SD card.
6. Trim Bezels
The trim bezels on a laptop aren’t what you want. It just makes it more vulnerable to accidental contact when opening and more susceptible to harm at the edges too.
7. Speakers
Xiaomi cuts corner with a below-average speaker quality. The speakers sound tinny, particularly, with no bass or depth to speak off. Peak levels of volume are also far short of what you would want.
